If that point is rolled again before a seven is rolled, the bet wins.
If the roll is any other value, it establishes a 'point' and the shooter rolls again. The bet loses if the come-out roll is 2, 3 or 12 (this is known as 'crapping out'). A pass line bet is won immediately if the come-out roll (the first roll by a new shooter) is a 7 or 11. Pass Line Bet - A bet on the 'pass' line is a bet with the craps shooter and is the fundamental bet in craps. If they are not then the outcome of a line bet is based on the 'point'. Line bets may or may not be won or lost on the first roll of the dice.
